Barasti Bar Overview

Barasti Bar is located beachside at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Resort. The bar has a very Polynesian theme to it and is on two levels, there are two top level bars, one inside that has big screens often showing sport, the other outside, that caters for those enjoying the views from the wooden decking or lounging on one of the bean bags with a pipe.

Downstairs on beach level, is where the party kicks off later, where on weekends there are live dj´s spinning tracks for the young crowd. If clubbing or dancing in the heat isn’t really your thing then they often have live music playing in the upstairs bar, so you can sing along to the old Oasis numbers whilst enjoying a pint of Strongbow or Guiness.

Barasti also have a food menu with some good sea-food dishes. This is a hugely popular venue on weekends amongst ex-pats where you have a choice of taking it as easy or as crazy as you wish.

I used to go to Barasti every weekend Twice, it is a very nice place to spend the whole night over there, nice view, nice food, drinks, dancing, everything in one place

last time when i went there was in oct '2000..thats when i used to live in dubai, i went to barasti bar used to be called DIMC after 8 yrs and was gob smacked as already i was so lost in that part of dubai that i couldnt figure out where i was. Its unbelievable development in the past 6 yrs as i happened to be residing in dubai since 1988-2000 but this time around i couldnt find my way around. As for barasti bar..it has always been my favourite hangout...always will..we used to love hangin out there on friday afternoons...then carry onto the kareoke in the Lodge..now theres more choice..more people..

Barasti was awesome

I went over for a long weekend to see my boyfriend, and he took me here amongst other places. He took me here a) as the first place we visited b) because everyone goes there and c)because even though there are loads of grat places to go, barasti is better. It was absolutely perfect, drinks, as far as Dubai prices are concerned, were reslly very reasonable given the ambience and location of the bar. The food was beautiful, i had good old fish and chips, the batter was delicious on a perfectly cooked, tasty, tender fish fillet, and just the right amount serving to fill me up. Over 4 days, we came here 3 times, each evening there were lots of people, but never too much to make it take ages at the bar, or to get a table. Barasti is also right by the marina and you cna chill out on the beach bar of the bar, or by the pool, or on the deck. There is also a non smoking room that is nice for non smokers, as you can, in Dubai, smoke inside. A brilliant, vibrant bar, am going back in January.. and cant wait! Will definately aim to live in Dubai when im older, incredible place!

The best night I ever had in dubai.

First of all, it was a huge open space with friendly people from all over the world. No cover charged to get into the place. It also happened that the Palm Atlantis Hotel Grand Opening Fireworks lit up right across the ocean. It was the best time of my third time stay in Dubai. The barbecue inside the bar was also delicious. I highly recommended this place.

Barasti Bar Rocks!

Fantastic place to have some good food and drink with friends. You will see people in their business suits after work as well as relaxed beach-goers in shorts and t-shirts, which makes it appealing to everyone. It is ALWAYS busy, and their is a great atmosphere at all times of the day and night. Make sure you go early if you don't like standing.

What an awesome beautiful idea to create such a bar and in that location. I sat there watching the Sailing and enjoying the company of friends, drinks and tha theme..... Definately did not want to leave... See you soon !!!!!x

Make sure you bring some girls, I went there with three friends of mine, but we were not able to enter. A few minutes later we could walk along with some girls and enter. Very cool place! Lots of people of different nationalities, prices were reasonable . Top level was very crowded, downstairs was a discotheque and seats with seesha's (and the beach of course). Swimming is unfortunately prohibited, but well, by night was very good. When I visit Dubai again I will return to the Barasti!
