BarZar Overview
BarZar is certainly one of our favorites. Located in the heart of the bustling Madinat Souk complex at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel, BarZar is ideally located for pre or post dinner drinks. BarZar is a stylish yet down to earth Bar that you can just go to and enjoy a few drinks with friends. The price of drinks is very reasonable and there is a great atmosphere whether you decide to sit inside or outside. We find that almost every time we go there is some form of live music being played which always helps to get your evening going.
BarZar is regarded as one of the most popular drinking spots in the City, one of the great attractions being the special promotions they have on drinks. Every Tuesday for Dhs 70 you get 5 drinks from a selected list of beverages (really a fantastic offer), every Monday you get a beer, cocktail or house wine for Dhs 18 and on Sundays it is a case of ‘Beat the Clock’ with 30% off between 6pm – 7pm, 20% off between 7pm and 8pm and 10% off between 8pm – 9pm.
The terrace at BarZar overlooks the canal and is an ideal place to have an afternoon cocktail break from all the Shopping. After dark it turns in to young and hip venue pumping out some good music in a trendily designed environment! This is definitely one of the best drinkeries in town!!! Open from 5pm – 2am every day, and from noon on Fridays...

Maria Trimboli from Bur DubaiIf you are after a classy night full of atmosphere then dont bother with Bazar Bar - if you are on a budget and like to drink as much as you can in one night then its your kind of place but if you are after something more classy then go to Bahri Bar, next door in Al Salam Hotel, much nicer and alot more atmosphere and less smokey bar....
