Deira City Centre Overview

Deira City Centre, located near to the waterfront in Deira is one of Dubai´s favourites. A mall with atmosphere, especially on weekends Deira City Centre Dubai has a buzzing shopping vibe that makes it a really fun place to shop.

The mall is spread over three floors, with over 350 stores. You will find fashion (all the big names), electronics, entertainment in “Magic Planet” or the 11 screen cinema “Cinestar”, a huge supermarket, a total of 40 different restaurants and cafes, 33 jewellery stores and textiles, such as silks and cashmere. The whole of the mall has Wi-Fi, so you can work and play at the same time.

What I like most about Deira City Centre is the friendly service of the actual mall staff and the way the mall treats its customers. One friendly guy whilst we were studying the map trying to locate the food mall came and pointed it out and gave us a free bottle of water. Then whilst we were waiting for the taxis at the end of our trip, a couple of staff came round with a trolley full of water for all those in the queue. It´s those little touches. There are also free hotel shuttle buses running to 11 different hotels around Deira.

I Loved Deira City Centre

it was amazing although i went a night and all the shops were closed or closing, it was much cleaner and brighter than the shops here in London.

Transportation!

I like the way it is! the mall has it all from coffee shop to kids facility to enjoy their times. Garments for gents and ladies are absolutely inspiring. Information boot very well satisfied, Grocery outlet from 01 year old to old enough! My only comments for this high exclusive shopping mall is the long que for taxi and the bad behavior of taxi drivers, actually they choose passenger to take, but thanks for management of the mall it has an agent to assist passengers way to taxi, it is very uneducate that whatever comes to you, you must accept it, not some drivers that they have to say anything from their language that you dont even know what is it, and you might think sometimes that they are saying bad words on you no body knows it. My advice is we are all came to this country to work according to our experiences, if you dont like what is your proffession you can just easily leave it. Do not think that only Europeans gives tips for the drivers but you dont actually sees it that Asian is giving you more than Europeans does you what is it "ITS THE RESPECT" that no one in this world can give you....... Think about that!

It's an awesome place although the way the stores are arranged aren't really suitable for shopping, because it's like: Clothes ----------> Restaurant --------> Electronics ---------> Restaurant ------------> Clothes although it's alright. the cinema needs to be cooler =p lol but the virgin branch there should be larger and more like the MOE branch, with instruments and stuff, that would be wicked!

City Link Bus Service

The mall is extremely great, but the problem is the transportation going back to your place. Long que for taxi. There is an available bus link service but bus personnels have bad attitudes. They are not consistent on giving coupons and they dont care about the customers of City Center they even let staff of the opposite hotel board first compared to real customers most specially at night. I suggest that you give chance to customers by having purchase receipts presented rather than coupons to be fair to real clients.

there was IKEA in the dubai city centre

the dubai city centre is a my favoite shopping mall but there was an i IKEA there was a carrefour , cinema , magic planet and many more then they removed Ikea and i so angry that why it removed you guys have to pray say please re-open IKEA at the city centre and IKEA is not in bahrain and i will pray that IKEA opens in Bahrain soon so that i can buy anything i want

I Loved Deira City Centre - simply the best

I have just returned from Dubai this week and I am really missing Dubai to such an extent that I am feeling very depressed to be back home.I just loved Deira City Centre and spent time there every day.I had been to Mall of Emirates, Festival City, Al Ghouraid, Lamcy Plaza but Deira City Centre beat's them all.I done most of my shopping at Deira CC and had delicious meals there too. It's just wonderful to be at the Centre and met lot's of wonderful people at DEira CC and am planning to go back soon.The only problem which I encountered at the centre is the long wait for taxis. I spent more than an hour waiting for a taxi there, they should have more pick up points for the public instead of only one point.

i think its boss, i love new look because the looks are so new, i love forever 21 because in my heart i will always be forever 21. i think the taxi line is amazing you can stand for hours just waiting. the cinemas is fab because you can just sit and watch a film, and eat various snacks. i will return one day maybe today.

i loved it ,it was just the wright size

i have spend 4 weeks in dubai in august and my hotel was located in Daera.Anyone who lives in Dubai knows how hot it gets ,and the shopping mall is just like a oasis. I really enjoyed the French cafe 'Pauls' ,where I had lunch very often ,the other restaurants on the top floor a great as well.If you are looking for fast food ,there is a great food court with good A rabic food i preferd better than standard american junk food ...lol The shops are great and the supermarket is exelent. If I would have to point the negative side ,it shureley would be the problem to get a Taxi and the long ques. I talked to the taxi drivers and they said ,that the reson for this are short fares they get from customers that shop there.Most of them live in deira ,and that is one of the most congested places to drive in DUBAI.....

Do Something about lack of Taxi's at DCC

Extremely long lines of people waiting to get a Taxi has now been a rotine at the DCC for over a year. It would take no less than an hour to stand in the line to get the Taxi. What ever the reason being for such a long wait, DCC authorities need to do something about this problem which just does not seem to go away rather become more serious every week.
